Training overview

Training is highly dynamic and is most effective when offered in tandem with academic curriculum. Students are put through different aspects of training aimed towards offered at individual holistic development. Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mental Ability Skills and as well as enhancement of Practical Application Skills form the base. Concentrating on Effective Communication [Verbal & Non – Verbal] skills, Time Management, Team Work and Goal Setting, Art of Persuasion, Negotiation Skill, and Crisis-Conflict Management Talents, the training modules are very effective. Note restricted to a single step process. The training regimen at Malda College envisages 3 phases.

Phase I: Induction into the Academic Environment:
Besides ensuring quality-content delivery in class room by highly qualified faculty, the process of inducting the students into academic rigor of the institution is duly reinforced this evaluating their psychology through well-structured psychometric tests, exposing students to the art of mentoring by respective faculty members, imbibing in the students the need to accept the academic environment with an open mind and to ensure that their individual talents are recognized and nurtured.

Phase II: Soft Skill Development.
Realizing that students by and large require to be molded into corporate-culture-oriented managers, the need for a Soft-Skill Enhancement Program is highly significant. These modular structured programs encompass Development and improvement of verbal and non-verbal communication, of Presentation Skills, of Handling Aptitude Tests, Group Discussion Skills and Mock Interview Skills and further reinforced with Case Studies and Real-Time Issues, Seminars and Workshops.
 
Phase III: Career Counseling
Besides the personal one to one mentoring by the designated faculty member, the training regimen at Malda College also include Career Counseling, counseling on job related issues and ensuring that the mental and emotional transition from students to employees are smooth and friction-less.
